Register has constructed several facilities for the Carpenter Co.’s Lakeland facilities.The 135,000 SF urethane foam plant was constructed in two phases, which included a concrete tilt-wall warehouse, a shipping facility, and a prefabricated metal building. The facility houses two 20-ton overhead bridge cranes. The original project also included an 80,000 SF concrete tilt wall office and manufacturing facility, constructed for the manufacture of expanded polystyrene. There have been two more expansions: a 90,000 SF addition, and a 45,000 SF storage and curing facility, attached to the polyurethane pouring plant.
