October is a special time of year for us here at Register Construction. It was on October 17, 1972 that Buddy Register established this company, and we want to take a moment to look back on the years with pride and gratitude.

Remembering Our Roots

With the seeds planted in 1972, the company would grow over the years into a thriving, full-service commercial construction firm. Initially the company completed projects and prefab metal buildings, such as the International Paper Building, and within a couple of years Register Construction was widely respected as Florida’s largest supplier of Gulf States metal buildings.

Register Construction continued to expand throughout the 1970s and ’80s, doing work for such major industrial clients as Mobil, USS Agrichem, and CF Chemicals. Almost all of the work performed by Register Construction was done by in-house employees. There were as many as 385 people on Register’s payroll at any given time, specializing in all areas of commercial construction, including carpentry, block masonry, cabinetry, steel erection, and more.

We’ve had some great partners and team leaders over the years, and none of this would be possible without the dedication of each employee. Their knowledge and expertise in commercial construction has kept Register Construction consistently delivering top-quality service on every one of our projects.

The team at Register Construction places a high value on qualities like integrity, dependability, superior construction methods, and ongoing education. Our commitment to excellence is evident at every level of the construction process, whether the project is an industrial warehouse, an airport hangar, a baking facility, an automotive retail center, or a multi-purpose office complex.

Looking Ahead

Register Construction has the amazing business community of Central Florida to thank for over half a century of success in the construction industry. We’re looking forward to many more productive years serving the communities we love, and will have some exciting news to share with you soon about our upcoming projects involving sporting, educational, and food facilities.
