At Register Construction, we know it’s important to stay current with the latest trends so we’re able to give our clients the flexibility they need to thrive and stay relevant.

Pickleball has become the latest trend in sport and recreation for people of all ages. Even though the game — which combines aspects of tennis, badminton, and ping pong — has been around since 1965, it’s experiencing a resurgence in popularity thanks to the fact that it is low cost, gentler on the joints, and easy to play. Now, Register Construction is helping to enhance this exciting experience in Polk County with a beautiful new venue.

We’re proud to announce the completion and grand opening of the Lone Palm Golf Club Pickleball Complex in Lakeland. This project includes 13 courts, a state-of-the-art clubhouse with a sports bar area and a pro shop, as well as amenities to host premier national events. The clubhouse, outside seating area, east terrace, and covered walkways encompass 10,000 square feet.

Register Construction was pleased to partner with Lone Palm Golf Club, CMHM Architects, LP Engineering, and NewPower Consulting on this project.

The grand opening of the facility featured a pro-pickleball exhibition tournament, which was live-streamed on YouTube. It included a $50,000 prize pool, and involved several of the best players in the game, men and women.

Service to the community is such a big part of who we are here at Register Construction, and we know projects like this enhance the opportunities for everyone.
